Student Testimonials
"I chose CCLCM over other options, thinking that I would graduate in five years as the best physician that I could become. The confidence of having a faculty team filled with international leaders in their field gave me confidence that I would learn the scientific material. The emphasis on collaboration, mentoring, teaching and the family-like atmosphere meant that I would be learning skills to become a professional, compassionate physician. I look forward to coming to school every day to engage myself and my peers in the process.”

"The longitudinal outpatient clinic is an understated strength of CCLCM, facilitating patient contact within the first weeks of the basic science curriculum. Working with the same physician for roughly one afternoon a week over the first two years was an invaluable learning experience. At the start of my third year, my clinical interview and presentation skills were well beyond the expected level due to the wealth of practical exposure I gained in the clinics. The longitudinal clinic experience also allows students to measure their transformation from student to student-doctor, which is tremendously gratifying and exciting.”
Brian Nolan, Class of 2013
"One thing that really stands out at CCLCM is the endless amount of resources we have at our fingertips. The small class size means we have so much individual attention and support; whatever your personal interest is, there is someone here to help you pursue it. The faculty at CCLCM is also incredibly dedicated, and their excitement for teaching us is clear. We are treated as colleagues, and our input and suggestions are not only heard but visibly incorporated. I’ve found that even outside of our faculty at the college of medicine, the many renowned physicians and researchers at the Cleveland Clinic are so accessible and enthusiastic about working with students as well. I can’t imagine a more exciting and supportive place to develop into a physician scientist.”
