Health Sciences Education

Health science professionals are healthcare providers with a formal education and clinical training. They collaborate with physicians and other members of the heathcare system to detect, identify, and prevent diseases and to provide therapeutic services to patients of all ages.

There are nearly a hundred unique jobs in the heath sciences. Some, like radiologic technologists, physical therapists, and surgical technologists, have a lot of patient contact. Others are more technology-based and focus on behind the scenes work in laboratories or in health information management.
