During this time of reflection upon those things for which I am thankful, please allow me to express my deep gratitude for the exceptional education collaborations we have enjoyed with all of you in 2011. Eight hundred international physicians and medical students traveled to Cleveland Clinic to participate in observerships; 130 physicians attended symposia in congenital heart surgery, obstetrics and maternal fetal medicine, cardiology, colorectal surgery, spine surgery, gastroenterology, obesity and metabolic disease management; and our own staff traveled to more than 20 countries to share clinical and surgical innovations.
We will be kicking off 2012 with the annual Arab Health Congress, the world's largest multi-track medical congress, CME-accredited by Cleveland Clinic. More than 20 Cleveland Clinic physicians will present on new ideas, insights and updates at more than a dozen clinical and surgical specialty tracks. Arab Health will take place Jan. 23-26, 2012, at the Dubai International Exhibition Center. Please visit us at the Cleveland Clinic education booth, located in the main concourse; we would be delighted to see you there.
In the meantime, please accept our best wishes to you and your family for a happy, healthy holiday season and a wonderful New Year!
