Identification Badges
An I.D. badge will be issued to you after your orientation. You must wear your I.D. badge at all times at the Clinic facility. Should you leave the premises and return late, you must have your I.D. badge with you as the Security Office will require that you present it to regain admittance to the campus buildings.
Lab Coats
White coats are issued on your first day. When your lab coat becomes soiled, you may take it to the Uniform Room (located in the basement of the TT building) and exchange it. The Uniform Room Service hours are: Monday -through Friday 7:00 A.M.-4:00 P.M.
Scrubs
The Cleveland Clinic utilizes a uniform exchange program. Upon proper authorization you will receive a specified number of scrub uniforms that you may exchange, when soiled, on a one-to-one basis, during your rotation. Medical Students will be accommodated when presenting an authorization form provided by the Medical Student Education Department. Students will be issued the prescribed number of O.R. scrubs at the TT basement Uniform Room. If O.R. scrubs are not returned at the end of your visit, you will be charged for the cost of the uniforms.
Dress Code
Students are expected to dress in a professional manner. T-shirts, cut-offs, etc. are not allowed. It is recommended that you wear comfortable shoes.
