Established as a partnership between Cleveland Clinic and Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine is a unique medical school program that sets standards for the training of physician investigators through innovative approaches to the integration of basic science, research and clinical medicine.






The curriculum is centered around problem-based learning, with no formal lectures, grades or class rankings. We are seeking students who desire to be expert in clinical practice and to further the frontiers of medical scientific inquiry. Our students are curious, self-directed and demon-
strate skills for critical thinking.

Lerner College Student Competes for Title of “Fittest Woman on Earth”
In mid-May, Lerner College of Medicine student Julie Foucher took first place in the regional CrossFit Games competition, qualifying her for the national games in July, where she is one of the favorites to win the games and be crowned the “Fittest Woman on Earth.”  Read more and view a video.
