Castele Learning & Conference Center
The Castele Learning Center at Lutheran Hospital, a Cleveland Clinic healthcare resource, opened in April 2005. Located near downtown Cleveland, Ohio, it is convenient to local airports and hotels. The facility offers a contemporary, high-tech venue for state-of-the-art learning for surgeons and health care professionals.
The Center offers comprehensive facilities which allow surgeons to achieve hands-on optimization of surgical techniques and use of medical devices through direct cadaveric and dry bone experience. Concurrently, the opportunity to visualize live surgery supplemented by didactic lectures and the ability to transmit these experiences to remote sites via satellite and fiber optic cabling enlarges potential audiences.
The 21st Century will be a time of rapidly emerging technologies, and the fully interactive Castele Learning Center will facilitate their application with the ultimate goal of improved patient outcome.
This state-of-the-art facility offers complete interconnectivity encompassing:
An Auditorium with 165 tiered, theatre style, interactive seats
A Pre-Function Area for exhibition and demonstration
A Cadaveric Bio-Skills Laboratory with seven stations for hands-on learning
Four Surgical Suites equipped for live transmission
To enhance the educational experience, our staff will organize all arrangements to ensure the success of your program including CME, CEU, procurement of resources, housing, and catered food services.
